Agent Agreement — Terms of Service
By registering as an immigration professional on Emigration Guru, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
You must hold a current and valid immigration advisory credential (e.g., MARA for Australia, RCIC/RISIA for Canada, State Bar/DOJ for USA, OISC/SRA for UK, IAA for New Zealand) to list your practice on Emigration Guru. You agree to provide accurate credential information for verification.
2. Profile Accuracy
You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and up to date, including your qualifications, fees, availability, and contact details.
3. Consultation Standards
You agree to provide professional, ethical immigration advice in accordance with your regulatory body’s code of conduct. You will honour bookings made through the platform or provide reasonable notice of cancellation.
4. Fees and Commissions
Consultation fees are set by you. Emigration Guru charges a platform commission based on your subscription plan (Starter: 0%, Pro: 8%, Premium: 4%). Payment processing fees (Stripe) are additional.
5. Reviews
Clients may leave reviews after completed consultations. Reviews are moderated but Emigration Guru does not edit or remove legitimate reviews. You may respond to reviews professionally.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Emigration Guru reserves the right to suspend or remove profiles that violate these terms or receive consistent negative feedback.
7. Limitation of Liability
Emigration Guru is a marketplace platform. We do not provide immigration advice and are not liable for the advice or services provided by agents listed on the platform.
